I have been working to convert my wagon into a flat bed. I chopped out 3 ft of the rear cargo area and stitched it back together. Still have a lot of little details to figure out but it is coming along.

Looks rad! There is an FJ60 truck bed conversion for sale locally with a widened mini truck bed on it.....I personally think it looks great, even though the body lines aren't perfect. Flat bed is definitely simpler, but the FJ60 front end with a truck bed is a good look. Thanks for sharing your progress, hope you continue to share more as it progresses!

It is currently a 3 link in the front on 12" coilovers and and a 4 link in the rear on air bags. She is sitting on 37" but with some final trimming should have room for 40's. Here is a shot before I got the drive train in and the frame painted.

Scrolling through those photos it really felt like there would be one with a belt fed machine gun mounted in the bed. That thing is super cool, and OP's project looks way more well done than this!
