It didn't come with the floor mat.
It looks to have at least piece of factory floor mats.

That is a 60 transmission for sure. Georg has repros of the actual 40 top covers if you want to make it exactly right, but not a huge benefit though IMO since it’s already done and in the truck and tunnel cover is already modified

If you need the factory AC battery support I make those now.

I’m clueless on California smog, but what would happen if you installed a cat on it just took it to a smog test and ran it as is and left it super dirty? I’d imagine it would have to run cleaner than a 2F and most test centers would be clueless as to what one of these engine bays should look like?

Believe around 79 emissions were just federal. Unfortunately it was Federal moving to California emissions not the other way around. Each state gets to determine how they want to enforce emissions. Because of California's poor air quality in parts of the state they are probably one of the worst as far as enforcement.

From the first post.
Hi guys,
I'm hoping to get this 83 back on the road as it would've been when sold new.
Five speed wouldn't be correct for the US market.
As far as comfort shifting having to this far back for 2nd and 4th would not be comfortable.

But that just my personal opinion.

hopefully they kept the A/C rad and related still in the rig
battery mount may be a hard find if you don't have it
the H55 has a 60 top on it, finding a 40 top will put it in the correct place
nice looking rig
Outstanding...lol. Does anyone know the dimensions that I should be looking for? I don't know the standard size of a regular one.
They are impossible to find, but no worries - with a couple of spacers the non ac version (still available at your dealer) works just fine. Happy to show you pics of the setup on my 82 with stock ac

The red cover is off a FJ60 4/65-7/87 in the US market. Depending on the market it could be as early as 11/84 and up 3/92.

The rear heater in your picture is not correct for 8/80+. Here is the correct heater.

Though some have that button as functional and some have a blank in that spot. Dont know the cut point on when they removed it

8/80-1/81 is the period I founded listed. So only a few months. Haven't found a wiring diagram on how they were wired. Guessing rear heater was wired to operate off that switch versus the high speed on the front heater's. But that is just a guess. Could be in series and used to turn it off in the back when the front is on heat speed..

the mats shown above, look like the under seat mats, they go on the raised section under the seat from door opening to center of tub
should have a flap or two with snaps to go around the legs of the seat adjuster brackets

I took a couple more pictures of the radiator and where you can see the battery mount under the air intake. Do these look correct to you guys?
