I have removed all the bolts, lines, and bleeder valve, but there not enough space between the axle disk and the plate it's bolted to to remove it. I can't find any information on if the front plate unscrews to the right or left or if it comes off at all.

Someone else may chime in, but if you're really stuck you could remove the backing plate, or, pull the diff cover and slide the axle out....

As I recall, those are a tight squeeze to get out. The cylinder should be loose of you removed the two bolts on the back and the brake line. You just need to wiggle that sucker out.

Press fit. The shaft doesn't just slide out like a Cruiser. You need a special jig to press the bearing off.

It's been many years since I've worked on one of those but I think @pappy is right, you gotta wiggle it out.

The last time I did mine I rotated the back of the wheel cylinder towards the bottom and
it slid out

Thank you.

If you give the axle a good whack on the ground or a wood block, like smack the spline end, you should get a little bit more room. The bearing has a locking collar but there is a little room in there. When you bolt it back up in the housing it all gets pushed into the right spot.
