Looking to pickup a 55 next week down in Oregon, was wondering about the complete rubber kits at around 1800$, are they any good or worth the cash?

Also, is Soda blasting one of the better ways to restore the body?

Andy lastly, I have been swayed by diesel cruiser head Andre to maybe do a frame off and was thinking of building a jig of some sort to hold the body?

This will be my first build truck for myself after almost ten years of restoring other peoples cruisers.

Thanks
Rob

Thanks, thats a lot of great information.

I will have to start with the rear window, I find one and fix the motor or gear?

Rob

Rob,

I have rear window glass with a working motor/regulator a stones throw away from where this piggie is in St. Johns. Shoot me a PM if your interested.

Todd

Koool, I will contact you when we get down your way.

PM sent.

Thanks
Rob

Do you have links to these pieces?

Not sure if you got your answer Pablo?

I will be picking up the 55 on Sunday, hard to believe and looking forward to a new project after many years.

We will be hauling it up in a TRD supercharged 100 series.

Hope to maybe visit with some cruiser folks.

Awesome! Can't wait to see what you decide to do!

I am sure this will be a killer project!

Thanks, again another stumbling block, my job ended this week and I have decided against spending the money.

Had the cash in hand, but my kids and wife are my number one concern.

Hope to build something in the future.

Cheers

Rob

Definitely take care of the family first and foremost - there will be Piggies out there...

So I am curious - is Radd Cruisers your business?

Was for over 8 years, sold it two years ago.

Miss the work, not the headache of owning a bussiness.

Thanks

Rob
