Awesome looking ride
Mines an early 77.

dose it have the luxury of power steering or AC?

no matter what its an awesome ride. Every time you give it some love it will give it to you right back in spades

need interior photos

I will try to get some decent shots. Metal is pretty much gone as far as I can tell. The guy at the body shop told me he needed to make some parts to get it structurally sound but I am really happy it wasn’t as bad as I first thought.

Hope your signed up for pig partei 22

Inside door plate says oct ‘76.
Cool. Mine is also Oct ‘76.

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to this. After picking up my pig and getting a little encouragement at the repair shop and from on here I took it to a local body shop who quoted me less than a thousand dollars to get the body mount back right. Figured I would post a couple of pics of my rig anyway. Still a relative newbie here. I think this is all part of owning a 55.

Beautiful truck...

What engine number do you have? On the side of the block near the distributor
I am out of the country and don’t have it written down. Here is a photo but it’s not clear. When I looked up the motor on the SOR database it was +/- 1 month of October 76; but, again, I don’t remember the exact month.

It's about 5000 units off from mine. Thanks

Ya that rear mount is basically designed to catch and hold all the mud you yeet off your tires. My Pig is a California truck and that area was gone too.
