I have this label affixed to the inside of my glove box door and i would love to know what the codes mean. The truck has a rear heater and a factory "Toyota" CB which i think are both options so i assume that two of the codes correspond to those two but I have no idea which is which or what the third number means.

Any ideas or information?

No pic. Here's mine. I also have rear heater and warn hubs. Not sure of other dealer options.

doubtfull the CB would have been installed at the port, dealership yes.

I think if the port installed the Warn hub than it has the Warn sticker on the driverside of dash

Thought I'd throw mine on here too to see if we can't figure out these option codes:

78 FJ40 - option codes 811, 859, 880. See sticker pic.

Did some searching online and found a 78 FJ40 dealer brochure that shows the options. See jpeg below.

Rear heater
Mud and snowtires
PTO winch
Free-wheeling/locking front hubs
AM Radio
8-track stereo tape player
Digital clock
Electric winch
Carpeting
Casette tape player
Rocker panel stripes

My FJ40 is pretty stock and complete. I am still really new to the 40, but I think my options are the warn hubs, rear heater. I also have the window defrost vents, which I think were an option, but aren't shown on the 78 brochure as an option. I do have an antenna, but the radio is aftermarket. I'd assume that having a factory antenna meant I had some sort of radio? I also have carpeting in mine, but I'm not sure if it was factory as I would guess the factory carpet was more like carpet floor mats that are easy to remove, whereas mine are underneath the roll bar, seat brackets, etc. (so I need to unbolt everything to get all the carpet out, which I am planning on doing here shortly). Anyway, thought I'd throw mine on here too if we want to keep trying to figure these out.

PIO codes also discussed here.

811 seemed to correlate with am radio, and 880 with rear heater.

The 859 may relate to California-spec or High Altitude-spec vehicle.
Awesome! Looking through, that's probably correct:

811: AM Radio - Although I don't see any speaker mounts in my glove box, and it doesn't look like anything is missing there. 78 must have the speakers mounted elsewhere other than the glove box?
880: Rear Heater
859: High Altitude with Window Defrost. **EDIT** I guess this isn't correct as my sticker under the hood doesn't have the "above 4000 foot elevation" verbiage. I do have the window defrost, which I think is an option even without the high altitude package?
