Things got a bit busy lately and I have not been dealing with selling my FJ. Here is the link to the ad. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
My 1976 FJ40 is up for sale. Unfortunately it is not ideal to have multiple cars in San Francisco, so I have to let this one go. This truck is awesome but my pickup serves my needs. Frame is in great condition, body is in fair condition. Original paint so she has a nice patina. The mustard yellow is really beautiful. Has some rust in the usual spots and the rear sill could use replacing. Seats are like new. Headliner is drooping in the back passenger side corner. She drives really well especially with the help of power steering and an overdrive shifter. Come check her out if you're interested.
Add ons and recent work:
• Saginaw power steering done by Mudrak
• Fairey overdrive so it basically has a 5th gear
• Old Man Emu Dakar suspensions
• Shackle Reversal
• Recently adjusted the valves
• New valve cover gasket and gaskets for the bolts that hold the valve cover on
• Auxiliary fuel tank. 20 gallons.
This truck is perfect to drive as is and maintain it or restore. Very stock looking with just some tasteful upgrades. Come take a test drive!
