At the risk of derailing this total cluster of a derail, I'll reply...
If you're into Cruisers with the money always ringing around in your head, I don't think you're being honest with yourself. These trucks are expensive sometimes, but they are also a lot of fun. And more than that, it's about the people you meet and who both spend their money and help you spend yours. That's what it's about for me - at least - and I'm a cheap-ass with a Toyota mini
Thanks for the entertainment
Anna and I would have left with your 80 had you not tried to wash the engine, and that was a blessing in disguise. It went to someone who truly cherishes the 80, and it just wasn't the right vehicle for us come to find out. So, it all works out in the end. You're still my first call when it comes to Toyota - and often times life - advice :grouphug:Just having fun with ya man. I'm sure when Jordan And Anna S. Looked at the 80 they were thinking WTF! I thought I would clean up the engine bay the evening before and did a quick spray with the pressure washer. Took it for a drive after and all was good. Next morning they took it for a test drive and it ran like poo. Took me a week to get everything dry under there again. Lesson learned...

- it was meant jokingly (doesn't always come across so well on the interwebs) - we got it all covered
(upon which the EGR input nipple promptly broke off revealing that it was completely plugged
why it didn't throw codes is a mystery to us)
