Parting out a NA spec 1975 Factory soft top FJ40 (bows and tailgate long gone). Actually owned this one several years back, the missus "suggested" I had too many projects, sold it to a good friend (along with a disc brake front, 4 speed case with 3 speed gears, some 4 speeds and everything else I needed to bail on). Recently bought it back, with "permission" to use the tub to restore my abused 76, contingent on everything I'm not going to use going within two months.

So - what doesn't sell, is going for scrap (leastwise excepting what I can't bear to see trashed and find a place to squirrel away): No engine, no gas tank, cover, radiator, signals, or hood (I parted the OEM softop bows and tailgate years ago). Drum brake front axle, assume 4.11 course spline diff, no rear diff.

I'm keeping the tub, front fenders, aprons and frame. Everything else up for grabs. Not looking to get much, but a few items have value, others available for cost of my time to pull and box up, or if you can demonstrate neediness, I've always been good about donating to a good cause if you pick up (I must know you personally or have a legit referral).

SOLD Couple of OEM soft top bits, including rear corner bow fittings and front door strap eyelets. $50.
SOLD Roll bar. $75 Bar Good, Pads Look Very Iffy - Backing Plates Look Crusty
Upper dash - not bad, just a few small blems $25
GAVE AWAY Lower dash pads. Right has a split $5 (free for local pickup). Drivers side (2) $5 (free local pick up). DO not think they're worth the price of shipping - rough.
SOLD Early style spare tire carrier. $75
SOLD FRONT AXLE and REAR LONG SIDE SHAFT

Rear short side axle $25
Front chunk. $75 obo
Windshield (frame fair, rust lower right corner at hinge and wiper area $75 obo
SOLD Wipers/motor/hardware and wiring. $40 obo.
SOLD Blower motor to heater core duct $25 obo. (blower motor and other bits are there but look iffy - TRASHED EM
)
SOLD Gauge cluster (condition unknown)
GONE Dash switches (may keep headlight switch)

Relay for two cable odometer (good for a period correct resto) $20
Brake bits - Look Good, could ship complete with backing plates. CHEEP. REAR ONLY
Course spline Warn hubs. $40
Bucket seat brackets $25
GAVE AWAY :) One good jump seat frame (no cushions) - $50 plus ride or $20 local pickup only.
SOLD for $5 ;-) Ashtray - all there, but needs blasting and paint $20.
SOLD Center console - OEM rough but salvageable. $25 or $45 with front center and front pssgr. seat brackets
.
Glove box door. $25
White spoke wheels (cheap but you pay to have tires dismounted)
Chevy to Toyota 4 speed 360 degree bell housing $100???
SOLD 4-speed and t-case. $250 obo or will part out the t-case as needed.
SOLD Transmission hump looks good with small cut out for Chevy conversion. $75 obo

Front bib (straight but rust repair needed in bottom - not showing but it's there).
SOLD Steering column
Steering gear, idler, etc. $50
SOLD Fenders - $250
SALE PENDING Running Boards - $75 for the pair.
SOLD Heater controls and brake warning light.

SOLD (or nearly donated ;) 4 speed skid plate
FJ55 skid plate - $50 obo.

Whatever else you think might still be there that I can't see.

Again, I know not much that folks are willing to mess with shipping - but clock is ticking, 2 months starting from today, and I've got to have it cleared out (or hidden with the current parts stash :crybaby: or maybe call Deo :bounce:).

Located in Florida - stuff can be made available anywhere between Orlando and South Florida. Shipping will be from the Treasure Coast.

All PMs replied - going to be busy this week, but will do my best to get more pics and follow up to any questions/offers. Thanks. Bill.

I saw the throttle linkage poking through firewall - not sure what part you mean, send me a picture or describe, I'll look tonight (or possibly at lunchtime).

Can't tell from the photo, but I need a windshield frame that hasn't had 'extra' holes drilled into it. Could you take a couple close ups of outside and inside frame?

Firewall throttle bracket looks like this as in picture A and goes below and to the side of the brake booster as in picture B. Thanks.throttle bracket A.webp Throttle bracket B.webp

Sputnik, disregard my search for the bracket as I have just found one. Thanks.

Will take pics tomorrow, don't think there's holes, but there is likely some rust near the passenger hinge and possibly at the bottom. Will know more when it's pulled - likely this weekend.

Great. First in line!

Is that the stock roll bar? Would you be interested in shipping it to 90405? Thanks.

It is. It's on the list to go (someone in line for pads if bar doesn't sell). Happy to ship, but you may need to do the legwork. I'll measure and see if it meets Greyhound max. dimensions - if not, I wouldn't know how to send it?

Bought mine from James Wade in Georgia last August. He wrapped it like this and Fedexed it to me in New Mexico. No probs.
