Does the fan run all the time, or is it thermostatically controlled?

I set up the fan relay ground to run off of the radiator fan sending unit. Once the engine gets to 185 degrees the inter cooler fan and radiator fan will kick on. I was hoping to source an intake air temp sending unit but I haven't found one yet so for now this should do...

I have a water-to-air intercooler in my 6.5td. I used a mechanical fan controller and cinched the probe up tight to the side of the cooler. It works ok. I was mostly concerned with the pump not running all the time around town as it's pretty loud.

I wouldn't want to wheel next to this rig if both fans were going to run all weekend. Actually, maybe the motor itself is louder than I'd want to listen to all weekend? 4bts seem nice, but a lot of vehicles with them end up for sale shortly after conversion. Coincidence?

A little intake support please...
I'll be posting a walk around video of the cruiser this weekend. I would have last weekend but it was my 4 year old son's birthday party and the weekend slipped away from me...
