So, now for my final post today... As some of you may know I live in Paradise, California where there was a massive fire the wiped out my town. My entire family that lived there all lost their homes. I received news a few days after the fire broke out and the town was evacuated that my shop with this cruiser tucked away inside SURVIVED!!

Four entire neighborhoods surrounding my shop and home and my shop made it!!! Over 17,000 structures were lost from this fire!

I have yet to be able to check on my shop personally as the town is still under a evacuation and the Sheriffs department is searching for missing people (Bones)...

That is all the good news. The bad news is that my family and I have been in a really bad place after leaving everything behind and trying to survive on a extremely limited resource with no foreseeable income as this fire wiped out our livelihood. I am a extremely proud person. I have nothing financed and only pay cash for everything I have ever owned (Minus my home). I am not one who can easily, if ever ask for help but right now my family needs it and I’m running out of options... Yay!!! Happy Holidays!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I am thankful beyond measure my family and I are at least safe considering we escaped 30’ flames on either side of us as we drove at a snails pace along side everyone else trying to get out of our town.

If you could help please check out this link and if not, if you could please share this link with friends, family, or on your social media I would be eternally grateful ...

Damn Josh!!

I’m really conflicted... I was shocked to
learn you lived in Paradise!!

On the one hand, I’m so sorry for the loss of your community and the devastating impact on your family and friends.

On the other hand, I’m so happy your family wasn’t injured, or worse, and that your shop and 40 survived unscathed.

You have a very tough road ahead and I wish you all much better days!!

I just donated what I could afford... I wish it was more, but I’m an old, retired man, on a fixed income... it’s the best I could do.

But, don’t hesitate to ask for labor help, when the time comes... if I can help, I will.

All the best!!

This all still feels like a bad dream and any minute I’m going to wake up...

I greatly appreciate your support as does my family...

I have two boys 7 and 13. This holiday season will be spent in a travel trailer which seems a bit stressful to my wife and I but is a absolute adventure to my boys... Happiness is living in the moment while embracing the adventure. I think all of us Cruiser heads could agree on that and certainly could learn the importance of not letting it go :)

Here is a article TIME magazine just wrote about my Mom and her husband in regard to this fire:
I apologize for posting this on a build write up but my wife, two boys (7 and 13) and I are in a really tough spot and really could use a little help from our extended communities ...

Sub'd...in more ways than one.

I read that article a couple of days ago... I never associated your last name, Josh!

I hope the contributions are picking up!

I have had a few mud members reach out which I am very thankful for... This has been really rough on my family and I but we are making progress everyday :) We are still under mandatory evacuations and there isn’t really any otherinfo being shared.. This has been a nightmare...
