Does anyone know where a guy could find the original antennae or a replica make that works?

Hey Sully, CCOT has both this 'fairly close' aftermarket @ $13.61

And this 1972 to 1984 Toyota version @ $61.39

Both are here:Antennas

I'm going to use the aftermarket on my '74, and just bead blast the lower protion and paint it a texture black.

Not perfect ...... but close enough for my restro-mod version.

P.S. the sliders look awesome!! :)

Thanks Flyer! That top one in the picture is exactly what I'm looking for! Ive got the Pyle radio all ready for install just need a antennae to make it work. Thank you for the links! The sliders do look nice! Sea Knight hooked me up with those. They are 4+ sliders that were slightly modified. Thanks mate!

Not much happening. Very busy at work and with the whole family thing going on I dont have alot of time.. Do you have badges for the hood? I may have a pair.

Badges? We don't need no stinkin badges! Sorry little blazing saddles for your evening. I do have the badges unless we are talking about something different?

Wipers are wired up and working, radio is working, pretty much it's all wired up... Lee if your viewing this, what spark plugs did you say you used on your 2F?

Pm me your address and I can get the roll bar pads shipped you might PM Butch ( Texican ) about that brush guard. Sorry we could not make the connection in Texas.......The build looks great

Hey Rob, I'll shoot Butch a pm here soon to see if he still does. However I think he is up north a good ways from me. As for the roll bar pads, I had a fellow mudder send me some after I heard Back from you. I really appreciate everything and apologize i could meet up with you at Round up. See you/meet you at next years round up?

I usually use NGK V-Power plugs. PN BPR4EY

The last time I needed plugs in a hurry, I bought Denso. Don't know the part number, but they were in stock at O'Reilly's.

IIRC, both NGK and Denso are OEM for Toyota.

Thank you sir! I thought you might skim over this at some point. I'm hoping to be driving my 40 comes Saturday!

You can bring it to the next meeting. It's looking great. On the badges, I have a set, somewhere, that mount on the skirt.

Ahh thanks for the offer Kevin. The reason why the badges aren't mounted is that the painter still needs to touch up areas that have been scratched due to wiring and putting together. Also he needs to still wet sand and buff it out as well as apply the POR 15 inside the fenders and rear wheel wells like he did to the bottom of the tub.

What's this? You have spare roll bar pads? :D

Do you need some? Rob would probably sell you the set he has. No extra pads here senor

Is .032 or .039 the correct spark plug gap?

this 40 desperately wants to be in Colorado..

Yes it does! It's registered and plated in Colorado so it would be a smooth transistion!

Nice work! She's a real beauty!
Now finish her up and come home!! the weather is about to become unbearably miserable there in good ol Tejas...

It's been miserable the last two days here. Here is a picture if the Pyle radio and the bows all together
