Wow, that really looks amazing. Keep it up and keep the pics coming. Where did you source your "new" hardware? it looks great.

Marc! More pictures please! I know you've made more progress.

Looks great

I have just started my 73 FJ40 and see a long road ahead to come close to yours. What part of SW Idaho are you in. I am in Boise.

Here is a couple of poor shots. I have been out of town and did not get a great deal done lately.

All of the hardware from this truck is from Toyota. I am getting qoutes from a large hardware wholesaler to see if they can make the oem style bolts with captured lock washer and flat washer. We'll see.

Simply magnificent!

What a beautiful job.

Wow. What a beautiful job. I'm extra impressed that you could do this with a '73. Lots of parts are hard to get.

Please keep the pics coming!

I am still fighting a couple of the 1973 only parts.

Here some pics. I was fighting a electrical problem, I had to take out the main wire harness, touble shoot it, repair and reinstall it. Man it was a real pain. I am hoping to have it running soon. I can't waite for the maiden trip around the block.

Marc, you are changing my mind about red. That's incredible. You need to get yourself some hash jeans a tie dye shirt and a dime bag and pretend you just bought that thing in 1973 when you get done. The only thing to ruin the day dream will be the fact that the fawker is nicer than it was new!

With the yellow area yet on the truck, it reminds me of the 70s, Tequila sunrises with grenadine.

Great work, Did you clad that Brake Boaster ? I saw something simular in the Eastwood flyer?

Looks unbelievable!!! Amazing job. I think I found something wrong.....I cant see any spacers behind the bezel and youd hate to scratch such a masterpiece!! Is it just me?? Or are they there?? Again, that is an amazing job!!!

I had a box of hardware, the brake lines, a bunch of brackets and the brake booster replated. It was cool that I found a guy fairly close that does the yellow zinc, I was worried about losing parts. The guy had a hard time with the brake lines and replated them three times to get them right.

Showed these pictures to the wife......she wanted to know if Toyota had begun selling them again!! That is one of the finest ground ups I've ever seen. Congrats. May it only be driven to church by your momma!!

Cheers!
