I never call when someone doesn't put a price on the item. It's an old sales trick placing the buyer in second position and the seller in first. It is like coming to a parent and asking if you can have something.
It's for sale but I won't clean it. So looking thru dirt is helpful to the buyer? Another sales trick...
People, they never surprise and seem to always disappoint.
The upside for the seller if "reasonably priced" is the uniqueness of this 40. As the market is now flooded with 40's for sale and prices are coming down.
Would I like to have it, heck yes. But sales trickery need not apply.

Not sure about your statement "prices are coming down". Maybe only for no US import.? Anyway on the east coast price are consistently high. Many times unreasonably too high..

Seller did respond to email. Referred back to reposted CL ad. Have to give him that. Certainly a unique vehicle. Seen a lot of 40’s but never one like this. I wouldn’t slight anyone who would take a leap and put this thing back on the road. Go ahead, I double dare you. Sure would be fun to watch.
