McGeorge Toyota is sending me a Jen-you-wine 1969 Toyota gas cap sometime next week. Love it when a plan comes together.

It was nicknamed the Picasso truck by my classmates. At the time it was not so funny, looking back, it was fitting.
Exact same thought process I had for mine. Get her running down the road and see what shakes out. All the while keeping eyes peeled for parts you “need”You know, I guess I could just reprioritize the top for a later project. The cruiser would drive just fine without a top this summer, and I can just focus on getting it running.
But still need to keep on the parts acquisition; especially the hard to find parts.
I`ve been using that thought process for 30+ years now. Just keep it running and fill in the missing parts as I go . Great strategy. You know, I guess I could just reprioritize the top for a later project. The cruiser would drive just fine without a top this summer, and I can just focus on getting it running.

I know, right???What’s that white stuff on the ground?
Fun times, finding and figuring out what you have and don’t have. That’s the journey!
