Everyone needs room for 2..

And I ground down the trans/converter cover ears to hopefully clear exhaust things.

Got the heater hoses, rad hoses and steam port figured out. I had to cut and turn the upper rad hose to make it fit so I used a barbed coupling that had a spot for the steam port and ran it there instead of to the (very large) nipple on the rad. Planning to either plug up the nip on the rad or maybe run my temp gauge out of it...

Also had to whip up a quick bracket to support the upper rad hose because its long af. Bolted it to the rad shroud.

The nipple on the rad is 3 or 4 times bigger than the one on the block so I would have had to make some kind of adaptor. The top rad hose I bought needed to be cut and turned to fit right and the coupler I had had the same size nipple as the sp nip on the block. Ended up at roughly the same height so it should burp bubbles just as good..

2nd set of headers fit perfectly! They clear the frame at the collectors and the upper control arm mounts where the other set was hitting. PS is still close but there's more than enough room.

My buddy Mike had given me a 2.5" exhaust do it yourself kit a while back and it happens to be the same diameter as the new headers.

Nice!
