Good investment! Really helps with wheel hop. Couple episodes on Roadkill Garage that explain how they work and how to set them up. They had a guy from Caltracs come down and show them at a drag strip.
 
Yaya I saw that one. Tony used them on his dart on stay tuned as well, thats what reminded me they exist.

Got the rad 97% situated.

Had to clearance the lower rad mount in a few spots and bend a few lips. Made up a uhmw wedge spacer for the rubber rad bushing? to sit on for the bottom passenger side to make the rad sit level.

Planning to make up some brackets that'll go from the 2 lower fan shroud mount bolts to the rad suppot to hold the bottom. The top will get a couple straps as well.

Its a fluid situation.

Should I bolt them to the front or rear fender? I know they're supposed to go under the front marker lights but we don't need to follow rules around here..

Got the rad mounted last night.

Made up 2 brackets at the top that accept the rad mount bushings, they bolt to the rad support and to the back of the rad shroud with nutserts. The second set of brackets go from the lower fan shroud mount bolts to the lower rad support.

She's solid like a rock now.

Took the time to patch some rust at the rad support/front body mount yesterday. Cut out the old steel, treated it with rust reformer, primed then made a patch panel. Its not perfect but its better than it was.

Also chopped a piece of the inner fender off where it was close to the proposed lower rad hose.
