My only "Team Member" is known for eating stuff I need and scaring the UPS guy.. Other than that he doesn't bring much to the table..

Trucks already on Bags, you keeping?? 🤔😉
Yes Pickup is on bags and I'm keeping..
This is supposed to be a low buck solution to me selling my brides other pickup..

The bed wood looks nice. Did you paint the wood or stain it?
Thank you!
I first sprayed a coat of “Magnet Paint Chassis Saver Rust Preventative Paint Satin Black” the same stuff we are coating all the rusty steel on the underside of the bed, then I hand rubbed a coat of the green base coat with a scotch bright pad and sealed all that in with some Everbright.

You can see the boards here before I sealed them.

BTW here’s a few pictures of one of my trucks. I finished it in 05’ and has about 80k on the odo. It’s also currently for sale.

How does it hold up to UV?
The Magnet Paint isn’t the best choice for UV but it’s durable and it’s what I had in the spray gun at the time. The Everbright has UV blockers that I applied over the top and I’m sure for what we’ll use the pickup for it will last a life time but yeah if it was going to be a show truck I would have done something different.

Random thought, can you buy “shaky stacks” these days
Kind of yes but mostly no for what I want..
There are companies like Speedmaster that make an "8 stack" style electronic fuel injection system but it looks more like a Webber setup and they are all Chinese castings something I don't want to deal with.
Hilborn did make an EFI 8 stack and I have one on my little blue T but Holley bought them and no longer makes the small block version. This pickup runs and sounds good with the single carburetor but I've been wanting to convert an old 8 sack for awhile now and this seems like as good a time as any so here we are.

Random thought, can you buy “shaky stacks” these days…serious mental burn from a kid at the racetrack
Just for others who don’t know what the hell I was trying to say, everyone likes more pictures…
