He’s only made me cry once.

That’s like the blood surcharge. My rates go time and 1/2 for the duration of my crying

And I have to spend $300 a day on tools he says I don’t have

I had to pay my Wizard tax this morning. He’s been bitching up a storm about my cheap 6” vice. So I went for an upgrade. He also yelled about not having dedicated nut drivers

I did not get started until noon today and was in a race to get the new Remflex installed and then torqued it all back up at 20 foot pound

Sniper back in place

Then we got the y pipe permanently installed

Wizard no likey v-bands, or just prefer flare flange because he has the tool?
I like this style myself on an off road vehicle. They are expensive but easy to deal with.

Still lovin this truck! following daily, I have a question and need some help. your pictures have shown me you have the same style front axle housing which takes its brake lines from each side of the frame. I currently just put 1976 knuckles out on my 1969. I have two ways to do this right, run SS flex lines like you have or plumb it like a late 70's with one flex line to the housing then hard lines to the knuckle balls and flex to the caliper. I too have installed backing plate eliminators which changes things also.

DO your lines ever get near touching your tires or anywhere else?
do you know who makes the SS front lines you have?
I would be in need of the two brake line brackets on the frame also, do you or anyone have these?
If I go the second way I would need the Tee fitting that mounts on the axle housing using the axle vent bolt.

thanks!

Valley Hybrids sells a backing plate eliminator and the SS lines. I did not do this one but I’ve done it down the drivers side and across the firewall upgrading.

I would mock a 74 and go to the drivers frame like this. Easiest.

I see what you’re thinking. I guess they could give some wiggle room if the exhaust takes a blow. Never thought of that. I would think you meant inexpensive though?

V Bands are great if you have to take the exhaust off a lot. I used them in my tube buggies. This style gives it a more utilitarian look without worrying about another gasket.

And the 304 Stainless kit like this one is $175 via Summit so no, I meant these are expensive

Is that a resonator or universal cat behind the Y?
