I like this style myself on an off road vehicle. They are expensive but easy to deal with.Wizard no likey v-bands, or just prefer flare flange because he has the tool?
Still lovin this truck! following daily, I have a question and need some help. your pictures have shown me you have the same style front axle housing which takes its brake lines from each side of the frame. I currently just put 1976 knuckles out on my 1969. I have two ways to do this right, run SS flex lines like you have or plumb it like a late 70's with one flex line to the housing then hard lines to the knuckle balls and flex to the caliper. I too have installed backing plate eliminators which changes things also.
DO your lines ever get near touching your tires or anywhere else?
do you know who makes the SS front lines you have?
I would be in need of the two brake line brackets on the frame also, do you or anyone have these?
If I go the second way I would need the Tee fitting that mounts on the axle housing using the axle vent bolt.
thanks!
I see what you’re thinking. I guess they could give some wiggle room if the exhaust takes a blow. Never thought of that. I would think you meant inexpensive though?I like this style myself on an off road vehicle. They are expensive but easy to deal with.
