About to order the two tie rods for my 1965 fj45. Anyone know those two part numbers???!!

Who ya gonna call, @cruiseroutfit

They are not available from Mr T but @red66toy has the parts books posted. I think there is a link in his signature line if you really want to look up the part numbers.

@cruiseroutfit sells a nice Japan made set. That's what I used.

If you just need the main tube and the relay tube, I have them. Genuine Toyota. $80 for the main tube, $75 for the relay, purchased as a pair.

Slightly curious to know if your main steerer tube has the original tapered ends? Every once in awhile one of those still drives in to my shop. SMH

Here’s what I’m working with. Bent. Crusty. Tie rod ends cut off on some.

I have them drenched in pb blaster. Might try some heat and see if I can remove the ends and straighten them. If not, I’ll gladly buy yours.

I consider straightening a tie rod a trail repair only. A tube, once weakened by a bend, is not safe to rely on. Save your time and energy for fixing unobtanium. Whether or not you buy from me, you should move on from those.

Okay. I’ll call you during business hours (tomorrow). There are other things I need that you might have.
