You know the picture is a picture of 1965 F engine right.
No I didn't. The guy I bought it from said it was a second engine. The original was on a pallet to be scraped.
He didn't know much about FJ's either.

Yep and the other manifold set is off the same motor with a canister oil filter mounted to it.

No. I bought my first cruiser 35 years ago and the thing that struck me about it was the simplistic dash. It was a 70 with the green turn signals and red brake indicator lights. The gas station I took it to for an oil change only added four quarts of oil and it blew up on me on the highway.
Since then I have had 6 other fj' and now in the final stages of finishing my 70.
So now my 17 yr old wants one as does my 15 yr old.
I gave them each an indicator light because that's what hooked me.
So no art projects.

Is that an SD-40 Carb? Would you be willing to sell just the carb?

Thanks.
Definitely not an Aisan

And that sure looks like an F145 to me. I don’t see anything that would suggest it’s a 1965 F135 engine.

The manifold combo is from an f135, however.

JD if you havent sold this id be interested

I would ask if you could pull the valve cover off and see, im looking for a good rebuildable motor for a client of mine...I wanted to confirm its the siamese head with the offset style valve train to keep this project as original as possible.

thanks

bobby
