these doors.. NOT cream puffs... thats what they were described as.. i replaced the bottom 2 inches of the door skin and the bottom of 3 of the 4 doors completely. the skin portion got 1/8 strap so the reveal is about the same and the bottom got 14 gauge, a little long to rust through those and the are a few pics of how i reproduced the flare in the rear doors.

just i case you were wondering that is ROOFING TAR on the bottom of the door in the last post. and this is a parting shot of the bottom of the passengers front door.


again it will be a while before this gets worked on i am moving into a smaller shop but at least its heated

yeah and i got the rear quater pannels. what is the satus on your second rig?

Hard to say which one my "second" rig is. 77' Fj40 - SBC 350 is on the hoist ready to go in. 71 Fj40 just aquired - needs engine rebuild. LV is on blocks waiting to get the cash to make a deal on a doner LV. 92' Fj80 is for sale in lue of purchasing a locked 97' FZJ80. and the 3 others are in various stages of being dismantled. I dont know how the puts up. She must really like me.

I'd like that too, as that is what the 81-84 40 series has. I would also need your 1" offset shackles made for the bigger pins found on 60 series and 81-84 40 series. Can't wait to hear when your partnership starts selling those.

so just a update i am in the process of getting a HZ diesel to add to the LV. i will be dropping it in in the next few months. so stay tuned i am in the process of locating all the other little bits i need for the conversion. so anyone that has a
HZ to h55f trans bell housing i could use one.
