Maybe you already know about them, but try calling ATEB (Auto Tech Engine & Brake) in Vancouver. Land Cruiser mechanics, they might have a lead on an engine locally. John and Philip are the two guys that run the place, really great guys. 604-438-7537.
Have you tried contacting Engines Australia ? I recently got a head for my 3B from them, they were great to work with, quick shipping too.
