Don’t let the trolls on FB get you down. I preordered for LC this morning without hesitation.

My favorite thus far is the guy who insists you'd be way better off selling them for $500 because "you'd sell so many more of them".

BRB, gonna go buy a LX700h for less than half price. "you'd sell so many more of them if you priced them as cheap as a corolla!" will be my strategy - I'm sure Lexus doesn't have any idea how much it actually costs to make their products either. 🤣

Anyways...

I've been loving the user experience! Really finishes off the 100 series.

These folks should compare this to the cost and time of tracking down the OEM pieces.

I saw the reservation was open and immediately put down the money because the knowledge, work, and time that have been put into this are worth it(not to mention, beyond my skills).

People spend thousands of dollars on way less useful things in my opinion (front rear bumpers/ led lights/ roof racks) and dont bat an eye, Dude posts a unique solution to a problem that hasnt been solved in 2 decades and people lose their minds.

Can we get a pic of what the display looks like at night? I think I remember it being said somewhere that it's dimmable but would love to see how dim it goes, especially if it'll be facing upwards at an angle

Have a new firmware revision that is specifically related to improving the dimmer function, it was good before, it will be perfect after the new update. Will upload in the next week or so once it’s back in the development LX.
