We added the extra length to Lou's rack today.

So much better looking. He added two extra slats on the front for some reason.

We had to take it completely apart. Got it good and tight. Rattles are all gone.

Had the privilege of a test ride in Nolan's 100, that truck is set up perfect, nice stance, nice tire size with that same luxury 100 series land cruiser ride, there were no negatives, just great ride, handling and response, thanks Nolan for the Tilda Bogue hospitality!

You should beat on it across some desert roads. He had me, Ardenne and Bailey drive it on Black Gap Road and then back to where we left the ours. I drove it at what I thought was a hard and fast pace. Afterwards while remarking how well it did, Bailey(who had been riding with Nolen) said that I was driving it like an old lady compared to how hard Nolen was driving.

On the mileage, Ardenne'so 100 gets 12.5 to 13.0 while my Tundra gets 15+. Awd compared to part time 4wd. And 4 speed auto compared with 5 speed auto.

This is a fun thread to read from the beginning.

I made it to Big Bend.

Made it to Mena.

Been camping a lot.

Cliff notes... are in the same 100 this whole thread? You started off wanting a white one.

I predict this time next year will see two 100's in my carport serving DD duty.

Nice prediction!

No, I bought a 2003 from
The initial search. Sold it when I sold all my toys to finance self employment.

Those were dark times for the toy chest.

Ah yes, I forgot about that era. Nice recovery!

You'll be glad you did....

In my personal (FJC) and strictly empirical experience, you run the tank down near to empty once and the ECU remembers. It will start warning you sooner than the 4 or 5 gallon reserve mark. I use a scan gauge to keep me up to date on more accurate metrics.

BMThiker is correct. My truck has gone longer on the last 3 tanks than each previous. I have a 2001 and believe the ECU was set for all the town driving PO was doing. I confused the heck out of it driving long distance for a few weeks/mixed with around town. Now that I have driven "through" the fuel light coming on several times and noted when it has gone from 170/190/ now 220 miles before light comes on SO my truck is essentially adjusting to my foot and when I actually put dinosaur in the tank.

very cool.

Passenger exhaust manifold is cracked/ticking underload at low rpms. No CE light yet. Will it damage anything? Im assuming as it heats up it expands and seals?

Its not valves as its louder under load.

If it gets worse 49 tire and Beno can square it away.

If it is, also consider Doug Thorley headers. Same amount of work with (claimed) slight hp/torque increase.

I was going to ask about that too. Tganks DNP. Ill see if it gets louder and see what 49/Rob says.
