It's funny what people not in the car business think things are worth. The common person sees an auto auction as a magical place where cars are near about given away. This may be true if you want an impala or a daewoo but believe it or not land cruisers bring a high premium. It's hard to get a "steal" when you have 5 other people bidding on it not to mention the many wholesalers that want to ship it over seas who are paying top dollar for them. I will buy as many 01 76k miles cruisers that you can find for 13.5k. By the way the price given to a fellow cottonlander was 2k off the advertised price. I'll let you get back to "Imagination Land" I've got work to due.

While I am sure all off that is true, all I really care about is seeing a picture of your 97 80 Series on 40s. Thanks!

ok, now I'm confused. is this the 80s thread or the 100 thread?

The 3rd row from your 100 series has been put to great use. Thanks again!

I use 100 series pads to stop those 40's.

Rob, You always talk about swapping an 80 axle to the front of my 100. Tell me more.

I got a leak in front steering rack and according to 100 threads this happens if you wheel your 100 regularly. Some people doing in once a year. I have taken mine to three events and done forrest service roads and mine is shot. So I am interested.

I want to get bigger tires like yours. The more my truck gets rigged up the more my wife is embarrassed, so lets get this done.

I'll do it for 10k. Cheaper than slee!

Check out the blueberry (blue 100) build on sleeoffroad.com . It went on one of the Ultimate Advenrure trail rides & kept blowing ring & pinion( 80 front axle). i would do a dana 60 or some other heavy duty custom axle.

But would better just to buy an 80 and supercharge it

Nah...

REFINED ENOUGH for cruising on Rodeo Drive. Second owner good maintenance minor scratches and one small dent on the rear tail gate. Other than that car is in pretty good shape. You must drive this car! If you have never had the pleasure of driving a TOYOTA Land Cruiser, once you do you will understand why it the best selling BRAND AND MODEL NAME 4x4 of all time, world wide! ALSO has the best RELIABILITY record of any other 4x4 other than the Lexus LX 470 (which is the same exact car). DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR COME SEE IT AND MAKE AN OFFER YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED. THIS CAR IS PRICED TO SELL!!!!! NEEDS A COUPLE OT THINGS AND THATS IT. SHELL DRIVE FOR 500,000 NO PROBLEM THIS CAR HAS EVERY POSSIBLE OPTION AND COMES ONLY ONE WAY FULLY LOADED.

True I am not in the car business, but I know when I see a price that is way over the top. 2K off the "advertised price" seems much more in line with the rest of the market. I understand that the LC brings a high premium. I looked for one for months. However, 18K for a ten year old LC is crazy high. My initial comment was low. It probably should have said 14.5-15. At least you came off that amount for a fellow cottonlander.
