If your worried about fuel milage buy a prius. All of these snake oil remities and worthless gadgets for increasing fuel milage are annoying and 99% of the time the gadgets cost more than any savings that will ever be seen in milage increases. It reminds me of magnets on the fuel line will help improve milage aligning the fuel molecules for better atomization or who can forget the tornado contraption. 100's weigh 5100#+ stock, as aerodynamic as cinder block and a 4.7l v8. I heard if you piss in your radiator you will increase fuel milage by 5% because piss has better cooling properties than water and therfore the engine will run in the proper temp range for proper fuel combustion, aligniment of antifreeze molecules and even proper tire wear.

I betcha someone will try this...

There is a good looking 2000 100 in the classifieds that is located in GA. I don't know how to put links in the thread. Guy was asking 12K. Seemed like a good deal to me. All maintenance is complete.

Hey, that is my truck. Here is the link. https://forum.ih8mud.com/vehicles-trailers-sale-wanted/475992-2000-uzj-100-fs-white-ga-142k.html

I met some of the Cottonland guys at K2 this year. Had a great time hanging out. In fact I'll probably make the Cruiser Crawl this year. Let me know if anybody is interested or has any questions.

Euclid, that looks like it could be a good candidate.......haven't "checked the numbers" (KBB, Edmunds, NADA, etc.), but the price seems to be in-line with most of that age (plus, the color's right!)

Yep. Gotta sell the 62 first. Several committed tire kickers, no cash so far.

make sure you get an extra $20 from them and tell them they just joined CLC AFTER the check clears.:p

100 series question

The wifey sold the Camry and is actually considering a 100 now. Do the 100's have a locker or any options I should look for in our search for her new pavement pounder. I know she would never make it down Lakeland without at least having a locker, or is that just my mindset.....lol

98-99 had a locker but those are getting kinda old.

2000 first year with ATRAC traction control, no factory nav system

2003-2005 5 speed tranny

2006-2007 VVT Engine upgrade...about 40 more HP

You guys come by Mail It and Copy in Flowood and take mine for a spin on Friday.

The reason the 100 series is set up like a stinkbug with the rear so high is because the rear springs SUCK with any load :D

I towed my big trailer the other day from Lenny's and got a major squat, but that thing is a monster so I expected that.

I towed my 14' 4 wheeler trailer with my wife's bad ass pink golf cart today and got a major squat too. I am sure if I had not cranked my front torsion bars to level it, it would have been level though.

Anyway, with 112,000 miles, I have decided to replace the shocks with Bilstein's all around like Martin did and add Air Lift 1000 bags. $357.16 for everything. I don't want any more lift and I think the springs are OK, they are just not really set up for towing.

I ran these bags in my 1996 FZJ-80 and they work AWESOME for $85.00.

Maybe Leonard will have free space on his lift one day, that would make the shock install a snap.

Martin, can I borrow your 7/8 ratchet that we used on yours?

Here is where I got the shocks ($272.00):

eshocks.com: Shocks and Struts: Landcruiser J10 / FJ62

Here is the place I got the bags ($85.16):

Let's get the samurai moving on it's own power and we can through the 100 on the lift
