Please post pics of your installs. I would like to see and hear about the mounting bracket, is it a quality bracket, easy to mount, etc. Thanks. :)

Will do.

The setup shipped yesterday i think and I should have it on the 10th. So i guess i will take it over to Seals Gases in Costa Mesa and get it filled once it comes in.

Reading these posts it would seem my 25lb tank may be a little excessive. :grinpimp:

That's funny because yours seems to be the same size as the 15 lb that Ultimate air offers. Are you sure it's a 25lb?

I was told it was by the welding shop. Maybe they told me that so they could charge me more to fill it. :meh:

is that bolted to the ground? any details on the mount? i haven't found a mounting solution yet and this looks like a good idea.

looks like a 20 pound to me.......

the bracket is a standard fire extinguisher bracket you can get many places, some powertank type stores sell them and slap their sticker on them. Here's where I got mine:
Public Safety Heavy-Duty Vehicle Brackets for Fire Extinguishers - Free Shipping Online

The bracket does look identical to what Ultimate Air is sellng.

It's basically what The Source sold/sells too!

And yes, it is bolted to the floor. I also built a support internally behind the plastic and used .25 wall 3/4 tubing to run from the mount, thru the plastic and attach to the internal support.

Used some thick aluminum angle i had laying around garage

Thru the plastic

Nice install Vistataco! As soon as my tank and bracket arrive i will need to figure out mounting also.

If you look in the FAQ section, the pic of the yellow CO2 tank mounted on the 3rd row seat bracket is mine. Local welding shop took a piece of sheet metal, welded it to the bracket and welded the tank holder to that. I like it.

I saw this on our last trail run from Banner and I didn't realize it would still allow the third row seats to fit in. Very Nice I think I will have to do the same install just on the Driver Side. Hopefully there is a place to mount a bracket behind the plastic.

For me, the Lexus has a storage compartment over there. If you have the same there may still be a way to get it to work.

That's true, it may limit my access to the storage compartment. I didn't think of that all I was thinking about was how I wanted to build my single drawer cargo box on the passenger side. Hmm, I guess I will have to check all of this out once the bottle and bracket come in. But that storage will be less important once I have the cargo drawer.
