s*** mate, that's beautiful! Well done!

Nice thread here... I like the ones that go for years. I'm looking to do a four door on a troopy.

Thanks, GW! I don't have much to report on the crew cab except I failed at trying to build a steel roof. It turned out way too difficult for my fab skills and available tools.

What is the story of the pic on your badge? The green crewcab flat bed?

I was looking at the rod mock up and thought it look challenging. Have you considered making a cap out of fiberglass? It would be easier to work with IMO. There is plenty of info on the web on how to build bucks to use as your mold. If you are good with wood, saw and bondo.

Little update: Installed a later model rear bed valence, tailgate, and hoop for a head rack for the bed canopy (thanks Awlteq!) Picked up some near new tires and powder coated FJ60 rims on CL. Still need a roof made and glass installed, rear seats, bed canopy.

Man that looks good. I'm guessing you already know that.

But Warn hubs?

Dan

Thanks, Dan. It's slowly coming together. I moved the axle back 2" by drilling the perches and ubolt plates. 1HZ-T and H55F, power steering, and disc brakes are next . The hubs say "IVAM". I have most parts to swap the outer axle section to disc brakes and hubs from FJ60.

I had a line on a Banderante 4 dr but could not get anyone to handle the shipping. I even have a friend that goes there often and it was still too much of a PIA.

Can you elaborate on moving the axle back 2"? I have to do that on my LV. Thanks
