Finally able to post after attempting to register. Wow! What a treasure trove of knowledge. Super embarrassing. But here it goes. I'm 52. I should know much better. But my Man Card remains inside a mason jar full of ice in the freezer. I've not earned it yet. I lift lots of heavy stuff...
Since I’ve lifted my 80 more, I noticed that it rear steers more when I leans around long sweepers, the 3 link with no sway bar doesn’t help… I’ll put the way bar in the front eventually. But since I fixed the front kinda I was thinking about fixing the rear kinda too.
I was wondering if anyone...
Anyone have these in decent condition? Mine were a rusty mess and can't find them new. Hoping someone hung on to theirs after lifting their 62. Thanks all!
EDIT - found it - 48802-60020.

Hi guys,
Do any of you run the Metal Tech upper and lower links? Metal Tech 4x4 100 Series Land Cruiser/LX470 Link Bundle stage 1 (upper & lower links)
I have a set of these on my 2000 LX470 and they have problems. The performance is good, but, they tend to snap and pop as I turn. I've made...
I went into my local Toyota Stealership, Wilmington NC, and the Moron running the parts dept had never heard of a fuseable link! He asked where they went, what they looked like, so finally I lost my mind a left the little s***head!
So, I guess I'll replace my links with fuses. I know 80 amps...
As the title says, I have a set of used FROR heavy duty steering links for an 80 series. I converted to a Y-link setup last year and these are sitting in the corner of my shop.
Some light rust, but the links are strait.
If somebody really wants the TRE's that are on them they can have...
Would you say I waited to long to change my bushings!
But link breaking is not the only reason why I say to long. I found not only did Link rust through, but I also removed a ~1/16" of rust off top & bottom of stabilizer bar recess that the cushions sets in. I then found the stabilizer bar...
I've noticed in the past couple days that whenever someone includes a link to an offsite location, *** converts it and takes you to a dummy page.
Here's a post I wrote earlier today. Anyone? - CLC Classifieds thread
Now the link I included only takes to a page with this URL (I added a...
My 91 has been f'ing up lately. At first I thought fuseable links, but I changed them and still the same! I have 12 volts to the underhood fuse box, but only 3.7volts at the B+ terminal in the firewall mounted test port........????? Any help would be great! Can't find it in FSM!
Feeler for now since everything is still on the truck but i ordered new steering for the 40 and the old set up needs a new home. Meant for a 40 with fj60 axles and power steering box (drag link is 1.5" shorter compared to a stock 60 link, relay is stock 60 length), would include all four stock...

Before anyone chirps in and says "get to the gym", this is my dilemma. MT links installed in the rear and this is the second time I've noticed a bolt coming out due to the nut coming loose. This second round, the nut/washer combo itself is gone and I'm lucky I didn't lose the rear end as the...
