I’m finishing refurbishing my 1977 FJ40 OEM air cleaner. All seals are no longer available from Toyota. I did some searching and found that most people address the seal around the edge of the air cleaner cover with little mention of the seals on the top and bottom of the filter itself. To me it...
Ok Cruiser heads.
what is this Air Cleaner from? I bought it a while ago and was going to use it for my Snorkel conversion.
but as i am not interested in cutting a hole in my fender at this time I am on the fence on selling it.
Before i decide, what engine did it go with?
I am assuming a Diesel.
So my intake on my '78 is bone stock, but I have noticed that there is more of a gap on the back side of my carb/air cleaner housing than there is on the front where the top of the housing meets the gasket. I do not believe my housing is tweaked but with this extra gap on the backside I have...
My 2011 LX570 stinks like I know alot of Toyota products do. I changed the cabin air filter but it did nothing so I now want to clean the evaporator. I've seen write ups on other cars but am surprised I cannot find anything on the LX570 or newer landcruisers. Living in Houston the AC runs year...

That was only in Europe ans only 24V

Probably someone has more detailed photos? It is also interesting how to use it from the cabin, by a standard wiper switch?

SO to my horror, my brothers 1976 air cleaner housing upper and lower gaskets 17841-61010 are not only missing but no longer available:(. These are the identical gaskets that rest right below and right above the OEM filter element. What are people using? I would appreciate any input on this...
I had a bunch of parts powder coated recently. I just happened to notice that the top portion of the air cleaner has a new hole in it. Prior to powder coating it was rusty and could have been thin in that area but I did not think the rust was that bad. Is this a typical casualty of powder...
Went a different way with my build, won't be needing this. I media blasted it, primed and painted black last winter. One stud is broken from the can where it mounts.

Pics coming soon, I'm having problems loading from my phone.
