Anyone have a Rover nut near them? This cap is from a Series 2 Rover (58-71?) and is supposed to measure 90mm (3.5") on the outside. That would make it a tad smaller than the 25 cap.......but it does have three prongs. Worth a try for someone with no cap.

Does this stuff come to you in visions? How many times have you surfed the entire internet and had to start over? Now go find the part number and application for a 25 ring and pinion!

I believe Mike tried the ring an pinion numbers in one of my wish lists and they were no good. I can dig them up if you want to try. Or send you a diff if you need it. :)
 
:clap:Anymore information on where you got and cost? Did you buy a vent cap? Which style was it and did it included chain? I'm missing one for a FJ25 soft top tank and another from a FJ25 hard top/61 FJ40 fill neck that needs repair.
 
:cool: Better than the typical hacked up Valiant cap.
 
Thanks Jack, your 61 has the same filler neck as FJ25 and will use the large gas cap. I see there is a small vent hole in FJ25 gas cap inside and my phone camera picked up a little vent along the seam. Wow I answered myself - “Now this is first”. :D
