Started my Metal-Tech stinger and sliders

If I show up to CM07 without the new parts Mark gave me awhile back I might not be allowed in his camp:doh:

Even though it may affect my approach angle a little bit, I decided to set the stinger at 45 degrees. The supports from the stinger to the radiator hoop are parallel with the ground.

I wanted the hoop to weld to the top and the side of the frame rail bracket so I relaxed the bend about an inch. When I was trying to eyeball the cut for the the sides I discovered the wonderful world of lazers. :)

Treeroot: Definitely post some pics of the MT sliders. Especially from the underside...I've got a 6/79 and trying to figure out what to do with the exhaust if I run sliders.

Mike-

Looks GREAT! Didn't you get a rear carrier from Mark as well?

Are you still blowing smoke, or do you have a fresh motor in there? I musta' missed something.

Your rig continues to inspire!

hhahahaha...you aint missed squat...he's still got the same tired motor. got a better project. got his dad into cruisers, so they gotta build him a motor first :grinpimp:

awesome sliders. How long did it take you to fab up?

Mark might bring me a rear bumper to Cruise Moab

Same tired motor running on straight 50 weight.

LT did all the fabwork. All I had to do is make the tubes to the frame. It took about 4 hours over the corse of two days.

the lines were made by AAI but they could be better. If they had the right fitting they can go straight back under the bib.
