This might help, but not sure how extensive OP's mods had to be vs. Tacoma it is designed for:

Do you have coils in rear, or the air suspension? If you are not adding significant weight to the rear, then it may be worth considering some spring spacers, such as Cornfed, and rear shocks to match what you put up front.
Did you happen to take MetalTech vs. Kaymar departure angle measurements at all? Or simply height above ground differences at a couple locations at the rear? Thank you for sharing all your experiences with us.
Something like this could work for you, but difficult to install, expensive and questionable robustness:

Have you considered using heavy duty tape or canvas+adhesive to make a hinge? Not sure on longevity, but it could be an option.
Was there constant power already available in the cargo area that you tapped into, or did you have to run wire all the way forward to the engine compartment?
@HitchCrack
Thank you for sharing your wiring project, quite the undertaking but great end product.
Did you have to modify any skid plates or were they true bolt-ons?
Thank you for the rear bumper post. I was disappointed to see the body damage (as you were). I have also seen other similar complaints on their jerry can holder. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
Do they have some kind of fitment kit for the 3rd row delete, or doing this as a custom storage mod? I haven't seen the cargo area show up on your build thread yet...
That tire & wheel does look great. Did you go with C or E load rating? Are your fender liners still intact at this point? It will be interesting to see if you find other rub points with some flex on the trail. You didn't extend your bump stops at this point have you?
Looking great with the lift. I'm curious to know if you have to do any mods/tweaks to the skid plates when mounting on the GX or if it is purely bolt-on.
