Anyone tackle this job yet? It’s a pretty slow leak. There’s nothing on the driveway yet, the skid plate is catching the drips and the dipstick didn’t really show a loss between changes. I’m probably gonna try and do it myself but not until summer.

Didn't know this was a problem. Is it?? Or is yours an anomaly?
What year and how many miles is on your rig?
Since I'm only about 6 months into my 2013 GX and it only has 42,000 miles, I'm still learning about any/all little issues with our beloved GX's.

It’s a 2011 with 117k

Same thing happened to me just a few weeks ago... 2015 GX460 premium, 43k miles

Luckily I just bought it as CPO so the dealer covered it under warranty.

My 2011 with 144,000 miles has a slight weep but I haven't worried about it at this point.

I'll be having my mechanic take a look at the timing cover every time I go in for service now. Although, he's really good about checking everything, even light bulbs (brake, tail, etc.).
