I was going to chime in that the last time I went through Atlanta, the traffic was horrible and what you needed is a vehicle that can go from a standstill to 30 mph and back to a stop very rapidly, and do so repeatedly. The only palce I driven in the last few years that is as bad is I-4 in...

You might check into whether the Corolla antenna is compatible. I recently had to replace the mast on mine, and the Corolla mast fit perfectly.

I can’t attest to Dave Mays Automotive’s familiarity with FJ40s, but there is at least one, owned by someone in Lakeland, Florida, that they have worked on more than once. So they have seen one before.

Here's my $0.02 on the stereo... (It's what I plan to do with mine soon, as well.) Go with a Dual-DIN unit that is Apple/Android and backup-camera compatible, and add the backup camera. If you're driving around town, sooner or later you'll likely be backing the cruiser up in a parking lot...
