What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

They are different terminals - marked “+” and “-“, and the terminal diameters onto the battery posts were good. The snug part was the length of the cables. The group 31 is taller, and then add the height of the tray, and the positive lead is just barely long enough to connect with the terminal...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

I have the Slee billet battery terminals too. The positive lead was quite snug getting it onto the billet terminal, but worked. Negative was fine.

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Slee Main Battery upgrade - made DIY plastic tray. Installing the Slee Main battery upgrade - to fit the Group 31 from Deka - and realized that unlike factory, there is no plastic "tray" to keep any battery schmutz from making its way through the mounting holes to parts unknown. Had a 2' x...

    E&E Off-Road 200 Series Skid Plate System

Weight differential between Stock and E&E Skids Summary - E&E skids add only 41 lbs compared to stock. I weighed pretty carefully both the E&E Skids (all parts, hardware, screws, etc.), and all the OEM parts I removed to fit the E&E skids. Used finicky bike parts scale down to the gram...

The official part number request thread

Hey @landbruiser200 - give me a week or so, and will send you some of these. Installing E&E skids, and pulled my factory skids & bolts this weekend. Think it probably has most of what you need. Don't need any more bolts in soupcans sitting on a shelf for eternity!

New member in Denver — meet Silvy - 2009 LX 570

Hi @klausLX - infrequent poster here, and Denver-based too (DU / Observatory Park). I've had DBA slotted front rotors and pads for >20k miles with much better luck than OEM Toyota rotors. Had same issues with OEM Toyota rotors on a previous Sequoia too. Lots of up / down I70 and elsewhere in...

    Windshield replacement 2016+

'Shonuff @bloc - VIN window is off by about half the width of the window. Which, if it was centered, would make the gap at the top look about right... <sigh> Now - do I leave it, or bitch about it to the installer. If functionally fine, probably makes sense to live with it. Typically...

    Windshield replacement 2016+

Had my 21 HE windshield replaced Friday at Caliber in Castle Rock CO. Just noticed this morning that there is a small ‘gap’ at the top of the windshield. Would seem like this was something that had a trim piece installed, but for the life of me, can’t remember if there was a trim piece in this...

    Windshield replacement 2016+

Im going to guess that the upper oem top moulding is: 75531-60080. toyodiy.com doesn't confirm explicitly, but the other two mouldings are listed at RH & LH. Anyone certain? Or, just say "Here are the OEM part numbers, call me when you get them"

    Windshield replacement 2016+

    HVAC Recirc Door

Happy to report Recirc door arm replacement both pretty easy and successful. Some items are slightly different in my ‘21 HE from the video instruction in terms of trim removal, but nothing too challenging at all. All in all, works great. And, broke out the label maker to put “DO NOT CHECK...

Best Upgrades for Under $100 (200-Series)

I was concerned about this too, but no perceptible flex when weight applied. I believe there is some reasonably stout structure behind the sheet metal under door striker plates into which the striker plates thread. Even its just a simple doubler plate, that added surface area would make this...

Best Upgrades for Under $100 (200-Series)

Door Striker step - works surprisingly well! Rightline Gear Moki Ascent - little fold up step that latches onto your door striker. For about $40. Impulse purchase when checking out of RackAttack yesterday. Fits well, stable, and great little addition. Bought two so can have one person at...

    Windshield replacement 2016+

Getting a windshield replaced by Caliber Glass in Castle Rock CO next week (local Denver Caliber wouldn't do it  ) as another 'Mud member had theirs replaced down there and reported a good experience. Ordered OEM glass, of course!! Today, they called / texted and said "If the vehicle has...

    Deka Marine Master dual-purpose battery?

Deka Group 31 - 1131PMF. Flooded (not AGM). Deka Precision Built - https://dekacatalog.com/deka-precision-built-774750423.html Not sure best thread to post this, so thread that popped first with most search hits on "Group 31" wins! If anyone in the Denver / Front Range area, or driving to...
