Heard that that's what I needed to know, but what are you using the Toyota computer for? Or is it completely bypassed altogether? I’m trying to wrap my brain around this part. Getting the engine tranny and transfer case in for me is the easy part this is not lol

My next question regarding doing this this swap is there a good post regarding g the wiring side of things, are most of y’all running both the gm and Toyota computer? I was looking into the mega squirt engine managment system or is this just a waste of time? For reference I’ll be swapping a 91...

So the factory pump should work fine then with a 5.3! I am going to start my swap next spring. Currently searching for a good donar for rebuild looking into a gen 4 motor.

Question when doing the ls swap I to the 80 are you guys swapping the fuel pump in the tank? Is the factory pump suffice for fuel delivery?

I redid the center console this weekend and finished painting my cruiser last weekend

Did you check the starter, is it factory or aftermarket? Plunger could have broken. Mine did like seven times until I went back to a factory starter
