I think it is the BD-11A. The picture I took of it isn’t real clear but here it is. It’s got a pulley on it from when it was installed in Florida. I’m in New Mexico at 5200ft. Wonder if I need to change that...
I came across a deal today on a supercharger kit, but I need to make sure it's a direct bolt on. It's a supercharger kit by "Boosted Tundra" for a 2002 Tundra with with the 4.7 2UZ-FE motor, the same as what is in my 2001 LC. It's a small company that put this kit together, and it uses a...
Anybody else have new thoughts on this? It's back on my brain and I never ended up doing it. Again, is it worth going for the full system or just putting a different muffler on and calling it good?
I built a rack for the back of my hundo to be able to stash gear below it, out of sight, and still be able to have a cooler and other things above. Works great. I am looking for a recommendation for good adjustable tie-downs or bungee cords to use with what I built. I've seen pictures of bungee...
I towed the first time with the airlift 1000 kit this weekend. My boat is a 21.5' Chaparral, about 5,000lbs. I put about 20 psi in the bags and it leveled out the ride just fine, but what I noticed is that it was really bouncy at regular speeds on 2 lane roads. Should I add more psi to them, or...
Fabricated a platform for the back of my cruiser from 1" tube steel and baltic birch. I'll add some other things on in the future, but it's great for keeping things out of sight and packing two levels of things.
Nobody mentions in this thread a compressor/leveling system like the Airlift 25870. Is it not necessary, and most people just fill what's needed as needed...
I used a heat gun on low and a plastic razor blade to pry them off. Then goo-gone to remove the residue, then a power buff cutting wax and polish to dress up the whole surface. Then I used a 3M plastic emblem adhesive to put them back on. Used painters tape to locate the logos with painstaking...
Performed probably the least exciting mod ever, but one that I've been wanting to do since I had the truck. Pulled the logos, plastidipped, centered Land Cruiser and ditched the others. Happy with it.
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the GB40. It was on a prime day deal for $79, which seems hard to beat. A few weeks ago, I left my lights on while setting up camp for about 15 minutes and it zapped my battery. And naturally I left my jumper cables on the boat which I didn't have with me...
