Im having the same issues with lukewarm (at best) heat from the dash vents. I'm convinced it's a blend door issue as very rarely it will go hot for a minute then back to barely anything. It's a good thing the rear heater is nuclear hot. Did I read somewhere the AC amplifier controlled the flap?

I've had similar issues with a yota mini truck that sat for years. Rust in tank, lines, filter, injectors. But it sounds like youve gone through that stuff and it's been running for years already

I didn't think a 97 could swap into a 94 without major mods...harness, sensors etc?

Mine was 10x worse than that. Filled with sopping wet black stinky rotting foliage.
