On my 98 I used a two part epoxy for plastic, it’s been holding well for the last few months. I put some wood blocks and wedged it under the windshield for the seam near the windshield.

I had the same problem, I trimmed the filters to fit (depth-wise) and two fit on top of each other like they’re supposed to. I think you still get most of the benefit, I’m sure some air goes around the edge.

I hope those of you with JDM trucks are able to find some value in this. I don't have an immobilizer on my truck, if you do you may want to make sure the new key registers on the ECU before you buy a door module and start taking things apart.
