Ok thank you jLB. What would be the consequence of driving a few days with the just the center Diff locked and not yet removing the front shaft and flanges? Will something be moving/engaging that shouldn’t be?

I had my number 5 coil go bad, and within a month it went bad again. Threw codes for plug and coil. Took the coil out and the plug was loose (as in already back out a bit, zero effort to unscrew). Put in a new plug and used the same coil and all is good for now no more codes. Good thread...
