Mine got snagged. I believe I'm going to get it re-ran and change that huge resonator out with a smaller muffler. Thoughts? My rubber held up and actually bent my mount. Exhaust now sags and hits the drive shaft.

Got the other reman in. Easier to turn but still not right. Fluid still gets pretty hot. Turned pretty easy right after the install, then got hard to turn. Ideas Mudders?

I've got another reman on the way. Now the aggravation of changing it again.

I would have rebuilt myself also but the PO broke the tensioner ear off of the pump casting. I'm also searching for the spacer that goes between the tension adjustment bracket and the pump.

Key is fine and so is the belt. The pump is being turned at the speed that it should be. No slipping.

I replaced my power steering due to a rear leak. I got a reman from Autozone. I flushed the system and bled well. There are no bubbles in the reservoir. My Cruiser is for Offroad purposes. I love the 3FE. It's not a speed demon but the reliability is unsurpassed and the engine does well off-road. It's simply doesn't get "tired" or die. I prefer air lockers over the electric so I'm not bothered by the lack. The fact of the semi-floating rear end...

Can you give me the specs on the exhaust manifold plug? Size?

Remove front drive shaft, lock center diff., try to replicate the sound. Will eliminate front shaft.

It's so very simple. Take the covers off and observe the operation and mechanism. It's very simple.

Why would it not roll under those conditions???

Take them apart and inspect like I mentioned. Do they both click? If so, I would replace them both. If you don't want to replace them, take them apart, clean them very well, and swap them. That's your best bet without replacing them.

Wheel bearings don't make noise like that.
