I did loosen the entire block, along with 2 brackets that were holding the kdss lines to the rear of the block. I had my brother in law helping me so between the 2 of us we were able to maneuver the rear slider foot into place fairly easily. We just had to "gently" yank the kdss lines out of the...
Thanks to everyone for the pointers and photos. I installed my sliders on Saturday. The kdss lines were a bit of a pain in the ass, but the rivnuts take the cake for being the biggest thorn in my side for this installation.
Glad you guys decided to bump this thread, my sliders are scheduled to arrive on monday and I was fretting the rivnuts. I was wondering about drilling through and using some long bolts and looks like it should work in place of the dreaded rivnuts. thanks everyone!
I purchased one of these kits on ebay about 1.5 months ago, and then shortly thereafter ordered a dobinsons mrr kit from treaty oak offroad. trying to decide if i should install this kit while waiting for the dobinsons kit to arrive, or just sell this one and stick with my worn out stock...
