At some point my car did not want to start but the motor turn over very well.
The glow plug light on the dash did not go out.
I traced it down to a fuse that was blown but looked good.
I pulled and tested every fuse with a multimeter and found the culprit, replaced it and the car started...
If there is no filter the sensor might be blocked.
I would remove the sensor and give it a very good spray with brake or contact cleaner( or similar) in the hole where the pipe goes.
