    Mass Air Flow Filter?

That filter is typically not replaced, but if you pull it out there is a part number on there and can be replaced if you choose. Definitely doesn't need to be replaced on the same interval as the main filter.

    Wheel Spacers, yay or nay

I've run spacers for a couple years now on my GX. I live and play in Utah, so frequent ridiculous offroad trips happen as well as deep winter snows in the mountains. There's pros and cons. If my tires cleared my UCAs I wouldn't run spacers. Since my tires don't, I run spacers. It's great...

T-case or trans? Issue when facing up hill shift to drive.

GX470 has a anti-rollback feature. It will stop the vehicle from rolling backwards on a hill after releasing the brakes while in gear. This will cause the engine to rev slightly, the traction control will beep and you will have a brief period to step on the gas before it stops controlling and...

Need license plate mount options that don’t involve drilling

You most likely won't be stopped, but there is a fine associated if they choose to - $200. Rule 217.27 of Title 43 Texas Administrative Code provides that passenger vehicles must display two license plates, one at the exterior front and one at the exterior rear of the vehicle that are securely...

    Buy 2003 or 2006

No, the 03 is timing belt, but a non-interference motor. If the belt breaks, at least it's not destroyed.

    Control arm eccentrics

The eccentric bolts are what adjust your front lower control arm for camber/caster. If they're seized in the control arm bushing, most people will cut out the control arm and replace the whole thing. Replacing the bushings is also an option, but most people elect to just get new control arms.

    Shock replacement

If you replace them with anything other than a shock designed for the feature it will eliminate it. 5100s aren't compatible with the adjustabile ride dampening. The rear is fairly straight forward, bolt on bottom, nut on top. Unplug shock from wire harness as you take it off the vehicle...

    Wildpeak AT3W 285 70 17 C load

I have the 285/70s in E rated and I don't regret it. I've had them for about 14k miles now, also have a 2 year old. I don't notice much difference over the michelin defender LTX that were on there when I got it. They don't ride like rocks, and I generally run ~38-40 psi for day to day use...

    Stuck center diff

Depends on what the issue is, sometimes it'll hang and you can put the gear selector in neutral at low speed and it'll turn off. Sometimes switching between drive and reverse and just letting it roll will solve it. If something's messed up it may not fully disengage. Could also be full of...

    Brake pad shifting in caliper

Thanks, I was looking for one of these. For some reason, when I looked up the hardware kits all I could find were the standard spring clips/pins. But then...probably because I didn't check Autozone...hate going there, the ones around here are terrible.

    Brake pad shifting in caliper

Up and down with wheel spin. The noise/movement can be recreated through applying brakes and changing from reverse to drive/drive to reverse, then applying brakes again. Also happen over time if I'm driving and haven't braked for a bit and the pad has (I assume) settled back to the lower part...
