It’s just part of having a 40. My rear hatch door has got me a few times too. 73 had some funky twist type braces on the hatch. They were one year only, presumably because they don’t work very well.

It kind of depends on where you live. If its really hot or cold a hard top, with AC, makes more sense. If it’s temperate, a soft top is definitely better. It’s 9 degrees right now where I live but will be 110 degrees in August. I have both styles but swapping them is more of a pain than it...

A while back I drained the from diff and was surprised to find it was full of green sludge. I did a full knuckle job on it to fix the axle grease leaking into it. I have had a slight ongoing pinion seal leak so I decided to replace it. Of course it cant be that simple. This is what was behind...
