Joining you!!! Couldnt get any traction on a February/march run but this event looks awesome!I will be keeping an eye out for the 2026 signup.
FYI - we run a group of folks down through parts of the Baja peninsula every year in Feb or March to hang out on remote beaches and see the baby gray whales. It's a much longer and more expensive commitment but it's a fantastic bucket-list experience. There are numerous photo galleries on that trip on the front page of our website. The image below is a client paddleboarding at sunrise at a special spot that we visit occasionally. Trip details are on the Hidden West Adventures website and FB event page.Joining you!!! Yes this is an annual event in November. Coordination around the Baja 1000 this year as they are running the race differently this year, but once I get dates finalized, I will update the website and social media accts. I expect to open registration in July. Will this be happening in 2026, if so when would you expect sign up to begin?
Thanks for the heads up. I'll dig into this more.also, the hyperlinks in the calendar don't work w/r future trips![]()
I understand. I often don't take my 40 on long trips bc it's slow. What's your comfortable highway speed? We can get up to 65 on open stretches of Hwy 5 btwn Mexicali and San Felipe, but we're typically cruising at around 50-55. The actual milage (both pavement and dirt) will vary depending on whether you sign up for the Whole Enchilada (7-8 days) or just the weekend event itself. This looks like a great trip. How much on road driving is there? My 40 is slow on pavement. Not sure I could keep up.
Check out the website for details - www.CruiserFiesta.com. The '26 schedule will be similar to the '25 schedule. We have a basecamp over the main weekend event and do trails from there, but leading up to the main event we have trail runs and beach days that are in a different location each day with a different camp each night.Wayes has a place down there, looks interesting, is the schedule to camp, ride, camp ride or is it camp in 1 spot and do trails from there ?
