Are you running 13-15 LX wheels? You may want to double check the contact points. IIRC, the issue is not so much the stud length as it is the lug nut not being able to “sit” inside the cavity on the back of the wheel.

Figured I’d answer this for him... the 2013-2015 OEM wheels are not hollowed out at the hub contact point in the same way that the 2011 wheels are. So, with his wheels he needs to have at least a 1.25” spacer so the stud and lugnut are “buried” deep enough into the spacer so that they won’t make...

Just following up on this. I dialed the sensors back, probably 1/4” from the max setting and it all seems to be working just fine now.

Good to know, thanks. I used to swear by the Gold batteries that Advance Auto used to carry, they were fantastic. Now they replaced them with the Diehard brands and I wasn’t sure about them. Thanks for letting me know!

I have been looking for slim rack options as well and to me the only one that came close is the Prinsu, but there are still a couple of things about it I don’t like so I decided I am going to build my own. This will let me put something together exactly how I want it.

Interesting, thanks for your thoughts on this. I do see what you are saying but then I cannot brag to the ladies that I have a “Group 31 under the hood,” and then isn’t that worth doing as an evening project? 🍻

Why do you think a 31 would be detrimental to a regular replacement? What are the disadvantages other than some very mild mods to make it fit? It seems like, here in the NE where I live there would be more advantages than disadvantages to a 31. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
