I also get the yellowish goo on my filler neck and cap. It is only in the winter months. It never happens when it's warm outside. It worried me the first time I saw it. I did a lot of research on it and determined it is just condensation and not to worry. I just clean it off when I check the oil.
I feel the same vibration with my 2009 and was told it was normal. It's very slight, my wife doesn't notice it. I would grease the driveshaft and only worry if it gets worse over time. That's my thoughts.
It seems a lot of people are having this issue. Most people have success with driving it a mile or so (as long as everything sounds and feels normal) then turn off the engine and then back on and most of the time it clears. I would try that a few times if it doesn't clear.
Anyone else have a DVD remote they are interested in selling? I have a 2009 LC. I checked dealer first and it was $500. eBay was about $280. I tried to program a Logitech harmony universal remote manually, using a friends remote and that didn't work either.
One technique to try is to spray water on the ribbed side of the belt with a spray bottle. Then start the car. If the squeal is still there then it's probably a pulley and not the belt. Not sure how accurate that is though. I read that some tundra were having issues with squealing and I think...
